AgriDataValue participated in the 10th European Big Data Value Forum (EBDVF) 2026, held from September 30 to October 1 at the Dexcom Stadium in Galway, Ireland. As an official associated Irish EU Presidency event supported by the European Commission and Fáilte Ireland, the forum brought together Europe’s data, AI, and research communities under the theme “Building Europe’s AI and Data Backbone: Strategy, Investment and Impact.”

AgriDataValue representatives from ITA and Netcompany participated in the dedicated session “From Agrifood Data Spaces to Real Business Value.” This session addressed the transition from theoretical data frameworks to practical commercial applications within the agricultural and food sectors.

Discussions centered on real-world pilot experiences, emerging business models, and strategies for scaling sustainable data-driven services. The session provided a platform for industry leaders, researchers, and public sector experts to discuss secure, collaborative data-sharing ecosystems for European agriculture.
